🛠️ Troubleshooting Login Issues: Enable Third-Party Cookies
Some login issues occur when your browser blocks third-party cookies, which are essential for authenticating users across domains. Follow the steps below to allow cross-domain cookies in your browser:
🔹 Chrome (Desktop & Android)
- Go to:
chrome://settings/cookies
Or navigate through:
Menu (⋮) > Settings - Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
- Choose one:
Allow all cookies (most permissive)
OR Block third-party cookies in Incognito (less strict)
(Optional) Add an exception for our domain: - Scroll to Sites that can always use cookies
- Click Add and enter:
- Check "Including third-party cookies on this site"
🔹 Firefox
- Menu (☰) > Settings > Privacy & Security
- Under Enhanced Tracking Protection:
- Set to Custom
- Uncheck Cookies
OR set Cookies to Cross-site tracking cookies — includes social media trackers - Scroll to Cookies and Site Data > Click Manage Exceptions
- Add: app.rivafy.com to allow cookies
🔹 Microsoft Edge
- Go to:
edge://settings/privacy
Or navigate:
Menu (⋯) > Settings > Privacy, search, and services - Under Tracking prevention, select Basic
- Then go to: Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data
- Turn off: “Block third-party cookies”
🔹 Safari (macOS / iOS)
Safari blocks third-party cookies by default. To allow login:
macOS:
- Open Safari > Settings > Privacy
- Uncheck: “Prevent cross-site tracking”
iOS:
- Go to Settings > Safari
- Turn off: “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking”
