🛠️ Troubleshooting Login Issues: Enable Third-Party Cookies

Some login issues occur when your browser blocks third-party cookies, which are essential for authenticating users across domains. Follow the steps below to allow cross-domain cookies in your browser:


🔹 Chrome (Desktop & Android)

  1. Go to: chrome://settings/cookies
    Or navigate through:
    Menu (⋮) > Settings
  2. Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
  3. Choose one:
    Allow all cookies (most permissive)
    OR Block third-party cookies in Incognito (less strict)
    (Optional) Add an exception for our domain:
  4. Scroll to Sites that can always use cookies
  5. Click Add and enter:
  6. Check "Including third-party cookies on this site"

🔹 Firefox

  1. Menu (☰) > Settings > Privacy & Security
  2. Under Enhanced Tracking Protection:
  3. Set to Custom
  4. Uncheck Cookies
    OR set Cookies to Cross-site tracking cookies — includes social media trackers
  5. Scroll to Cookies and Site Data > Click Manage Exceptions
  6. Add: app.rivafy.com to allow cookies

🔹 Microsoft Edge

  1. Go to: edge://settings/privacy
    Or navigate:
    Menu (⋯) > Settings > Privacy, search, and services
  2. Under Tracking prevention, select Basic
  3. Then go to: Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data
  4. Turn off: “Block third-party cookies”

🔹 Safari (macOS / iOS)

Safari blocks third-party cookies by default. To allow login:
macOS:

  1. Open Safari > Settings > Privacy
  2. Uncheck: “Prevent cross-site tracking”

iOS:

  1. Go to Settings > Safari
  2. Turn off: “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking”
