The correct format and setup of your product data file
- Currently, you can import Excel and csv files to Lynks
- One SKU – one row. Only use one row for each SKU, multiple rows are not supported
- All cells with text, SKU ID and EAN number should be in text format – all numbers like price, VAT, MOQ should be in number format
- If you use , make sure they work and are transmitted correctly
- You can have multiple sheets in the excel file for storing product data and all of them would be imported into Lynks. However, having data for the same product across multiple sheets is not supported.
Use cases (examples):- Have different sheets for each product category
- Have different sheets for different brands
- Images need to be added with a URL. Supported formats are JPG, JPEG and PNG. Please also avoid any "umlaut".
To import image and video for products in Lynks, you have to use two different columns – Main URL and Other URLs. The idea is to define an order of the medias so the main image and video can be exported as the primary media to the sales channels as well.
